US offshore wind pioneer Grybowski leaves Orsted for ‘new venture’

Jeff Grybowski, who played a pivotal role in building America’s first offshore wind farm and was the industry’s public face for much of this decade, is stepping down as co-chief executive of Orsted US Offshore Wind. His last day will be Tuesday.

He told local media that he plans to remain in his native Rhode Island and use his experience to start a new energy venture later this year, but provided no details.
