GE Renewable Energy’s flagship Haliade-X has drawn a “really good” response so far from potential offshore wind customers, giving the OEM confidence the turbine will be a “healthy addition” as it diversifies renewables product offerings over time, according to Chief Financial Officer Jamie Miller.
“We’ve had a number of different bids that we’ve been involved in,” she said at the Deutsche Bank Global Industrials & Materials Summit in Chicago, without providing details.
