German wind turbine maker Nordex Group has inaugurated a wind turbine assembly plant in Argentina with a capacity to churn out 500MW of nacelles per year to supply machines to the country’s fledgling wind power industry.
It is the second wind turbine assembly facility in the country. Last year, Danish OEM Vestas inaugurated a plant in the province of Buenos Aires.
