Russia’s largest wind farm so far will be built in the Rostov region by the Rusnano-Fortum development consortium, said Vestas, the OEM supplying its 198MW of turbines.

Vestas will equip the Kamensko-Krasnosulinsky project with 52 V126-3.45 MW turbines delivered in 3.8MW Power Optimised Mode.

Installation of the turbines is due to take place in the fourth quarter of 2019.
