Potentia Renewables, a solar and wind developer owned by Power Corporation of Canada, emerged as the winner of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan’s first wind request for proposals with its 200MW Golden South project.
SaskPower, the province’s monopoly utility, did not reveal the winning price, but said the average among the 29 final bids was C$42 ($32) per MWh, including interconnection costs.
