With trade tensions at a boil between the US and China, Chinese turbine supplier Goldwind is looking for near-term orders in Canada and Mexico.
“We’re in some mid- to late-stage negotiations on a fair megawatt capture in the Alberta-Saskatchewan market,” reveals David Sale, the recently installed chief executive of Goldwind Americas, who calls the Canadian prairies “a hotbed of activity right now”.
