The second phase of a landmark concentrating solar power (CSP)/PV project is underway in Chile and due to be completed by mid-2020, its developer told Recharge.
EIG Global Energy Partners restarted construction of the 210MW Cerro Dominador project in August, after earlier this year raising $758m in financing for what will be the first commercial CSP deployment in Latin America.
