German wind turbine manufacturer Enercon is entering the fledgling Vietnamese wind power market, supplying two projects with a combined capacity of 77MW, and is in discussions on the installation of a further 152MW in the South-East Asian country.

“Over the past few months, we have been making careful preparations together with our customers for our launch in Vietnam,” said Steffen Brauns, regional manager for Asia-Pacific at Enercon Sales International.
