TPI Composites and GE Renewable Energy have extended their supply agreement at one of the composite wind blade manufacturer’s plants in Mexico by two years to 2022, and will increase the number of production lines there from three to five.
TPI, based in the US state of Arizona, did not provide financial details of the contract extension or what GE turbine models will use the blades.
