The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has begun seeking public comments on two proposed PV projects totaling 940MW nameplate capacity in the US state of Nevada, a test of how far and fast President Donald Trump’s administration could allow onshore wind and other renewable development to proceed on federally-owned lands.
The projects are Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners’ 690MW Gemini and NextEra Energy Resources’ 250MW Yellow Pine.
