Siemens Gamesa’s new €200m ($234.2m) offshore nacelle factory in Cuxhaven, Germany, will operate at capacity until 2020, according to chief executive Markus Tacke.

“We currently are running at capacity with secure orders until 2020,” Tacke said at the inauguration ceremony of the 55,000sq meter (592,015sq foot) plant that the global offshore wind leader brought into operation in less than two years.
