Wind OEM Siemens Gamesa has secured the first ever order for a wind farm by Spanish oil and gas company Cepsa, for a 29MW wind farm close to the Andalusian city of Jerez de la Frontera in the province of Cadiz.
Siemens Gamesa will also operate and maintain the 11 G114-2.625MW turbines for five years after they comes online, which is foreseen for the end of this year.
