Billionaire Warren Buffett’s PacifiCorp has provided more details about its wind energy investment plans through 2020 for Wyoming, seeking regulatory approvals to build and own 860MW of new capacity and re-power eight facilities there totaling 594MW, while announcing PPAs for an additional 320MW.

In filings today with regulators in Idaho, Utah and Wyoming, PacifiCorp subsidiary Rocky Mountain Power proposes to construct three 250MW wind farms called Ekola Flats, and TB Flats I and II, and McFadden Ridge II with 110MW capacity.
