Industry body WindEurope has sounded the alarm bells over European turbine orders after charting a fall of more than a third in the most recent third quarter.
WindEurope claimed policy barriers such as slow permitting plus inflationary pressures have stalled projects and contributed to a 36% Q3 decline year-on-year (see panel at foot), putting green ambitions of the EU and individual nations at risk.
