Irish floating wind outfit Simply Blue Group and Spanish players Proes Consultores and FF New Energy Ventures have launched a joint venture called IberBlue Wind that aims to prepare some 2GW of floating offshore wind projects for taking part in upcoming tenders in Spain and Portugal.
Simply Blue already has a 10GW offshore wind development pipeline in various European countries and the US, while Proes Consultores is the engineering and architecture unit of the Amper Group and has participated in the design of Scotland’s Kincardine floating wind project.
