Siemens Gamesa under its new ‘Mistral’ strategy programme seeks to adopt a simplified and leaner company structure as of next year as the embattled wind turbine manufacturer reported widening quarterly losses and once more cut its operating profit margin target.
The OEM after the also loss-making previous quarter had already said it will soon announce the Mistral programme to improve its profitability, which may reduce the number of turbine models and offer more standardised and simplified products.
