A “renewable electricity shortage” caused by a too-slow build out of new capacity is hampering efforts to get the green hydrogen revolution up to speed, warned the CEO of global wind giant Vestas.
Asked whether enough is being done to support the emergence of the renewable H2 sector, Henrik Andersen told a panel at the World Economic Forum in Davos that its expansion is inextricably linked with the growth of wind and solar needed to power its production.
