Green power giant Enel is “exploring scenarios” for the future of its Russian wind farms and other generation assets there, as its CEO said it would halt growth plans in the country.

Italy-based Enel, one of the world’s largest renewable energy operators, was an early pioneer of wind development in Russia and has two projects in the country, the 90MW Azov operating in the Rostov region and the 201MW Kola plant under development in Murmansk in the Arctic north.
