Orsted is in talks with a group including French finance giants AXA and Credit Agricole over a sale of a stake in the Hornsea 2 UK offshore wind farm that will become the world's largest in service so far, according to reports.

The French companies are part of a consortium in “advanced discussions” over the purchase, according to Bloomberg which cited unnamed sources with knowledge of the negotiations and said a sale of 50% of the project could be worth £1.8bn
