More than $2bn flooded into the US offshore wind market in 2021, according to a new report from industry group the Business Network for Offshore Wind (BNOW) that also warns maintaining that momentum over the next few years will be “decisive” for the sector's mid-and long-term ambitions.
BNOW’s 2022 US OSW Market Report & Insights notes that supply chain activity quadrupled in 2021, with a 61% spike in new participants entering the market.
