A 'power-to-X' group including Orsted said it will speed up plans for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production to help meet Denmark hit a new goal for 100% green domestic air travel by 2030.
The partners in the Green Fuels for Denmark initiative now aim by 2025 to deploy 100MW of electrolyser capacity originally planned for the project’s second phase, accelerating it by two years, and to begin capturing CO2 from biomass by mid-decade.
