Orsted CEO Mads Nipper insisted recent high-profile departures from the offshore wind giant do not mean the developer is at a competitive disadvantage against higher-paying competitors when it comes to retaining or hiring staff.

Nipper said Orsted was not “gravely concerned” by the moves when questioned over the issue during a call with financial analysts following several executive exits over the last 18 months, some to oil & gas giants ambitious to expand in offshore wind.
