The Norwegian government plans to publish an ambitious national strategy for offshore wind, which will include commitments to the supplier industry, regulations and a grid infrastructure on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, the country’s recently appointed energy minister, Marte Mjøs Persen, has said.

“Offshore wind is currently our largest renewable export,” the minister told the digital ‘EERA Deep Wind’ conference hosted by the European Energy Research Alliance, Trondheim-based research body SINTEF and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
