Nordex was the latest wind turbine manufacturer to post a net loss during the first nine months of 2021, pointing to high raw material and shipping costs.
The German OEM last week had already lowered its full-year guidance despite an improvement in preliminary figures for sales and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda).
The company now confirmed those figures, but announcing more detailed results also acknowledged that it had posted a net loss of €103.7m
