The Ocean Winds consortium of EDPR and Engie and Aker Offshore Wind have revealed that their previously-announced joint bid in the ScotWind offshore tendering round would translate into 6GW of floating capacity, confirming earlier news reports.
The companies said the bid it has submitted is for several sites in the Outer Moray Firth, an inlet of the North Sea in northern Scotland.
