Vestas booked a 189MW order to supply some of its largest EnVentus onshore wind turbines to “difficult-to-build” projects under development in the US by Algonquin Power and Utilities that the OEM said would have been impossible just a few years ago.
Vestas will supply 16 V162-6.2MW turbines in 6MW operating mode and one V150 at 5.6MW to the Deerfield 2 project in Michigan.
