The renewables units of Spanish and UK utilities Acciona and SSE have become the latest to announce plans to make inroads into highly fancied Polish offshore wind market.
Acciona Energía and SSE Renewables – already cooperating on the exploration of offshore wind opportunities in Spain and Portugal –signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up a 50/50 joint venture for wind at sea in the Eastern European country.
