Plans to turn a Baltic Sea island into a green refuelling point for tens of thousands of ships have been backed by offshore wind giant Orsted and other energy transition players.
The Bornholm Bunker Hub consortium will look at the potential for supplying vessels with green maritime fuels from the Danish island of the same name, with Orsted joining partners including Wartsila, Ramboll, Bureau Veritas and Haldor Topsoe.
