Nine east coast state governors in a letter to President Joe Biden urged his administration to build on the momentum behind US offshore wind development since he took office in January with a “predictable long-term plan for the industry”.
They pledged in the letter to collaborate across their states on permitting challenges, natural resource considerations, identifying opportunities to coordinate schedules, and aligning construction timelines that will allow each to meet its clean energy targets.
