The US urgently needs to train wind technicians and other key energy transition roles amid a boom that could create up to 600,000 new jobs by 2030, said the American Clean Power (ACP).
Meeting President Joe Biden’s stretching decarbonisation agenda is a “once in a lifetime opportunity” for massive job creation to fill roles in wind and solar generation, and battery storage, said the newly formed industry body.
