The unit, Trianel Erneuerbare Energien (TEE,) will succeed Trianel Onshore Windkraftwerke, which already has a 100MW onshore wind portfolio.
"The foundation for the continuation of the successful activity of the Trianel network in the area of renewable energies on land has been laid," says Markus Hakes, TEE's managing director.
"We expect more than 40 municipal utilities to join the new company in coming months."
