Solar projects again outperformed wind farms last year as operating plants from both renewable generators came through 2020 largely unscathed by the Covid pandemic, said financial ratings giant Fitch.
Global PV projects monitored by Fitch Ratings continued to meet or beat their original P50 forecasts – the level of production the plant is expected to exceed 50% of the time – while wind “did not measure up”.
