GE Renewable Energy is expanding its wind turbine blade facility in Gaspé, Canada in a co-investment pact with the Canadian and Quebec governments.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited the plant for the announcement of the investment at the plant, which first opened its doors in 2005 and has already been previously expanded in 2017.

The growth will add 200 skilled jobs at the LM Wind Power facility and help meet demand for GE turbines across North America, said the OEM.
