The joint venture between Finnish energy group Fortum and local developer Rusnano has taken a final investment decision on a second wind project in Russia that will add 200MW to its tally in the country.
The Fortum-Rusnano JV – which has secured a total of 1.8GW of wind capacity in two Russian government auctions – expects to start operation at the development in the first half of 2020.
