The federal grid agency, BNetzA, received 136 bids by 3 August. In April, it had received 170 bids for the 150MW up for grabs, making the first round four times oversubscribed.
Rainer Baake, state secretary in the energy ministry, said the latest round had gone successfully.
"We are keen to see which results the uniform pricing system will render in regards to the level of winning bids that is being applied for the first time in this round."
