“Also in the second tendering round real competition about support permits can be observed,” says Peter Franke, the vice president of Germany’s federal grid agency BNetzA.
“The high participation is a good sign for the Energiewende.”
The agency had received 136 bids with a combined volume of 558MW, making the planned 150MW tendering round several times oversubscribed.
The BNetzA hasn’t revealed the price of support the winning bids will be entitled to yet.
