Stiesdal – a hugely well-known figure in the wind industry – is retiring at the end of the year.
Siemens said Morten Rasmussen, currently head of R&D at Siemens Wind Power, will be taking over as head of the Technology unit as of 1 August.
A separate CTO function will be established, with Stiesdal keeping that role until he leaves.
Kjaersgaard is leaving on 30 September to be CEO of an unidentified Danish firm.
