US onshore wind, storage capacity, and utility solar installations fell 55% to 3.19GW in the second quarter versus a year ago as the industry struggled with multiple challenges that are likely to continue impeding development this year, according to a new report by the American Clean Power Association (ACP).

Developers brought 1.57GW of large solar online, down 53% from a year ago, while onshore wind installations were 620MW, off 78%.
