Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) on Wednesday solicited bids for up to 4.15GW of wind and solar PV capacity, as US electric utilities accelerate their transition to cleaner generation under President Joe Biden.

The separate requests for proposals (RFPs) are for the purchase of up to 2.8GW of wind power and up to 1.35GW of solar. Individual bids to supply wind must be a minimum 100MW and a minimum 50MW for solar and are due on 13 January 2022.
