Israel’s Enlight Renewable Energy made a big step up in its global ambitions with a deal to acquire solar and storage developer Clēnera in the red-hot US market.
Enlight will take 90% of the shares in privately-held Clēnera at an enterprise value of up to $433m. The developer, based in Idaho, has built 1.6GW of solar and is developing a pipeline of 12GW of PV and 5.5GWh
