The green power sector and investors in renewable energy reacted with enthusiasm to plans by Germany’s incoming government to massively boost renewable energy in general and offshore wind in particular.
The Green Party, which is returning to as partner in a government for the first time since 2005, during coalition talks in the weeks since September 26 elections had insisted on the next administration being a ‘climate government’ that only enacts policies in strict agreement with the Paris climate deal.
