Total Eren – the renewable energy group part-owned by French oil supermajor Total – is mulling joining local developer Province Resources to build a 8GW green hydrogen hub in Western Australia’s Gascoyne region.

Province confirmed Monday it had signed a binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Total-backed unit to carry out a feasibility study for the Australia-listed company’s proposed HyEnergy Zero Carbon Hydrogen (HZCH2) project.
