BP and partner EnBW confirmed their plans to enter the upcoming ScotWind round for new offshore wind leases in seas that have for decades pumped oil rather than power.

The UK-based oil supermajor and German utility – together successful in a joint bid for new seabed off England in the UK Round 4 leasing programme earlier this year – announced the creation of an online hub for suppliers if they are successful in ScotWind, which closes for applications in July.
