Renewables major Iberdrola has committed to building the 245MW Avonlie solar farm in New South Wales, boosting its green energy footprint in Australia after last year’s acquisition of Infigen Energy.
The company had recently bought the project from developer RES. Construction is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year, with initial energisation seen before the end of next year.
