New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s administration has finalised contracts with developers of two transmission projects that will deliver huge amounts of renewable energy from upstate locations and Quebec to New York City.
The contracts between the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and Champlain Hudson Power Express and Clear Path New York require approval by the Public Service Commission (PSC) which regulates utilities in the state.
