Global renewables giant Enel added more than 3GW to its arsenal amid surging appetite for US solar growth.

Enel Green Power, the Italian group’s renewables arm, acquired a 3.2GW solar and storage portfolio from Dakota Renewable Energy that spreads its operations into new areas of America’s mid-Atlantic and west.

The 24 development-stage projects are in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia, Missouri and Colorado.
