RWE is expanding further in the Polish market – where it is also active in onshore and offshore wind – with the acquisition of Alpha solar, which has a 3GW PV development pipeline spread across the Eastern European nation.
The German utility giant said the deal grows its existing 10GW global solar base and strengthens its position in a key market.
