General Electric saw total orders climb by a third and revenues up 9% as it reported second quarter figures buoyed by growth in its renewable energy business.
The US power technology giant took in orders of $18.3bn over the quarter as overall revenues swelled by the same amount, helped by $3.2bn in new business from GE Renewable Energy, up 7% on the same period last year.
