Danish private equity firm Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners has launched a new investment platform dedicated to developing renewable energy projects in Canada.
The new entity, Horizon New Energy, will build on the existing activities of CIP in Canada, including construction of what CIP says is Canada’s largest solar facility — the 692MW Travers Solar farm — and the 495MW Buffalo Plains onshore wind farm.
