The laboratory willbe opened later this year as Yingli’s new research and development facility inBaoding City, Hebei Province.
The collaborationwill include DEK Solar supplying at no cost one of its ‘Apollo’ metallizationlines, which will be used for research on silver paste usage and costreductions at Yingli.
The Yingli laboratoryis being established to benefit the local PV industry and to provide a platformfor solar manufacturers to develop new technologies, processes and materials.
